Fall Update

Hello Friends and Supporters of The INN,
As we move deeper into Fall, the Board of The INN wanted to provide you with an update on our progress. We continue to be hard at work behind the scenes in order to make the dream of "providing immediate access to housing for all of our neighbours experiencing homelessness" a reality.
One vital and exciting announcement is that in response to our on-going collaboration with the Province, The INN has decided to provide nursing care to our residents. A full-time nurse will be available to manage the health concerns of our residents and we feel this is a critical and exciting development that will work towards making our facility the best it can be.
As a board we have continued in meetings with community stakeholders, and have also been touring other housing programs in the Province and have learned much that will inform our day to day operations at The INN.
Additionally, in light of our continued learning, we have spent countless hours writing (and re-writing!) the documentation for our facility including Business Plans, Risk Mitigation Plans, Operational Plans and more, working on the details that will inform us moving forward.
We are continuing on and believe that we will have very exciting information to share very soon! Thank you again to each and every one of you for your continued support and words of encouragement as we move forward.
