Kathy is a fourth-year social work student who has spent most of her life in the southeast corner of our
province. She currently works as a Resource Coordinator for a provincially based nonprofit organization
that works to help individuals access and maintain housing and also has experience working in mental
health support. Kathy has a strong understanding of how housing and health are interconnected and
has used this knowledge as a basis to advocate for those experiencing housing instability. Kathy also has
a real passion for learning about the role community plays in long-term health promotion.
In her spare time Kathy enjoys taking care of her family and spending time outdoors. She has many
hobbies and can be described as a “Jill” of all trades.
